Is it safe?
Your child's safety is our first priority. The Ivar is a very protected building complete with 4 security guards for added assurance. Our registration and sign-out process is a thorough 4 step procedure. The event is heavily staffed by trained KidTribe instructors.
What kind of music do you play?
We play an assorted variety of the best dance music ever. Of course we play current pop per the kids' request – but KidTribe is also dedicated to opening children's musical horizons. Music from different eras, cultures, and communities are interwoven through the night's theme. Guest performers often include live musicians from around the world. Each song is carefully scanned for appropriateness, keeping the best interest of the child in mind at all times.
What exactly will the kids do there?
You're welcome to check it out for yourself from the VIP Mezzanine. Basically, we get our hearts pumping as we dance exercise. Miss Kellee leads high-energy guided movement games that create community and engage the total child. It's free-style in nature, so kids are invited to “do their own thing”. We have out-of-this-world special guests that perform and teach us their exciting talents. And we close each event with the acclaimed KidTribe Open Mike. It's priceless.
Do you serve food?
We do not serve dinner. For the children, we've got energy-sustaining snacks available… fruit, Z-Bars, and sugar-free popsicles. There's plenty of water to drink. For VIP lounge, light munchies are served and drinks are available at the bar.
How do I purchase a ticket?
Go to www.urbanevents.com and purchase pre-sale tickets on line. Or you can call: Tickets are also available at the door for $30 per kid. Cash only please.
What is the Registration Process?
You will need your photo ID. Fill out the Registration Form and Sign-In Sheet. Then fill out the requested information on wristbands that must be worn by all parties for the duration of the event. We then take a digital picture of the ‘tribe' you arrived with. This MUST be the same tribe you depart with. No exceptions.
What is the Sign Out Procedure?
The adult who signs the child(ren) in MUST be the same person to sign them out. No exeptions. Wristbands, photo ID, and Party Pics must match.
