Nicknamed the “X Games of Hula-Hooping”, Hoop-Hop is KidTribe’s signature program. It infuses Hip-Hop dancing with an oversized Hoop and is a fabulous fusion of two enduring fads… dynamic chorography, awesome music, high-octane games, and challenging tricks for every level, this class is might as well be a party!

But it’s so much more…

Hoop-Hop is an effective core-conditioning activity. Vigorous hooping for 10 minutes burns the equivalent amount of calories to running an eight-minute mile. While practicing locomotor, object manipulation, and isometric skills, sudents shed pounds and strengthen every major muscle group. By working isolated muscles in opposition, Hoop Hop tones the abdominal region and obliques, re-aligns the back, opens the hips, and firms the buttocks and legs. We build hand-eye coordination, ear-eye coordination, balance, dexterity, flexibility, agility, right / left discrimination, depth perception, spatial awareness, and cardiovascular endurance.
