Kellee McQuinn

Founder & Creative Director 

Nicknamed “the Pied Piper with a Boom Box” by the LA Times, Kellee is the writer, director, producer, and curriculum co-author for all of KidTribe’s productions.  In 2010 she received the Community Leadership Award from President Obama’s Council.

She also currently serves as the showrunner, youth on-camera director, and voice director for the new preschool series, Mack & Moxy, airing on PBS and Netflix. An expert hula hooper, she’ s hip-hop-hooped with millions of kids around the world, including the White House Easter Egg Roll throughout the entire Obama administration and the Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play.

Quinn Tran

Business Consultant

Born in Vietnam, Quinn settled in the United States as a war refugee in 1975. She then, she’s been quite busy. After receiving her BS and MBA from San Francisco State University, she has served as Business Development Officer in many Fortune 500 companies.

A former CEO of the American Red Cross-Silicon Valley,  she is also a Board Member of the American Leadership Forum-Silicon Valley, The Enterprise Network and The Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose. She also coaches students in Global Entrepreneurship Studies at Stanford University and acts as advisor to Vietnam’s leading universities, helping youth prepare for the global economy. 

Shara Jackson

Director of Operations

Formerly the Director of the  Dance Education at the S.T.A.R. Afterschool Program, Shara has been KidTribe’s resident choreographer since 2010. She’s also served as the Project Manager for the acclaimed 13900 Dance Street Dance Company in Atlanta, Georgia where she has led strategic initiatives and established new partnerships with leading regional and national organizations, in efforts to promote the performing arts community.

Shara also is a featured dancer in Beyonce's Who Runs the World music video, she was also a Cheerio in Glee, and in numerous commercials.  She has served as the International Choreographer for the Aveda National Hair Congress and the Company Production Choreographer of 13900 Dance Street Atlanta and has rocked the White House Easter Egg Roll and Nickelodeon stages five times. 

Gale Gorke, Ed.D.

Director of Education

Dr. Gale has been an educator for over 30 years. The curriculum author and master trainer for all KidTribe’s education programs, she’s earned an AA in Liberal Arts, 2- BA’s  in Liberal Arts & Youth Ministry, an MA in Administration, an Ed.S in School Psychology, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction.

She holds a Multi-subject, Teaching Credential for Preschool to Adult, and a Credential in School Psychology. She also helped author the Quality Indicators for Inclusion in After-School Programming along with the  After-School Physical Activity Guidelines for the California Department of Education.

Sara Kaye


Sara has been involved in the Performing Arts since she was a child. She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree from the UCLA Theater, Film, & Television Department. In 2009 she turned her focus to producing and since then has been an integral part of many documentaries, music videos, and commercials. She served as Associate Producer on a FOX show called FabLab promoting the importance of teaching teen girls about STEM. She is also an associate producer on Mack & Moxy, airing on PBS and Netflix. 

Jan Janotta


A veteran with over 20 years in film and television production, Jan’s experience spans across all categories specializing in filming, editing, sound design, color correcting, and mastering. With too many credits to list, his work can be seen in commercials, music videos, promos, game shows, animation, reality shows and indie films for major networks and studios.


Aaron Ableman

Music Director

An award-winning artist and bestselling author, Aaron has dedicated his life to create music that helps the world. Named one of the "Top 100 Creatives" by Origin Magazine, he wrote and produced the official United Nations Climate Conference song. In 2013, Aaron won an Independent Music Award for Best Children's Album, a Mom's Choice Award, and Creative Child Award from Creative Child Magazine. 

Gordon James, Jr.


Gordon is a rising star on the stand-up comedy circuit and can be seen in episodes of Glee, Austin & Ally, and in the films Spiderman 2 and From Where The Opera Sings. He's been performing with KidTribe since 2010, starring in videos and leading thousands of kids into a fun frenzy at schools, the White House Easter Egg Roll, and the Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play.
